I’m an EPM Architect during the day, Automation (and AI) enthusiast during the night. Movie geek in the weekends.

What I Do

EPM Systems — Working with Oracle EPM since it was not Oracle’s. :)

AI Automation — Building tools that make daily life less painful: CLI utilities, automations, and intelligent document processing. See github.com/LuisEduardoAvila for open-source projects.

Home Lab — Self-hosted infrastructure and local AI experiments. This is where I test ideas before they become tools. The objective is to push a Raspberry Pi to the extreme. :)

PotatoLab

Yes, it’s a potato joke. Potato Internet. Potato server (running things from a Raspberry Pi). This space is part blog, part lab notebook — a place to document what I’m learning and building.

  • Local AI experiments — Testing enterprise use cases with self-hosted models
  • Writing — EPM patterns, anti-patterns, and lessons learned

Background

I’ve been working with Financial systems for a long time. With EPM also for some time. And now I’m starting to push some boundaries with AI.
